We have a spot here by the creek with a wild tree and some chairs. The tree is either a river birch or an alder. We've planted an aspen, we're hoping to have a little grove eventually. We'll also get a bench or possibly a folding picnic table. It's such a beautiful, peaceful spot. Just sit and watch the water rush by and listen to the soothing sound.
I tried to do one long pan, but the auto stitching wouldn't take the whole thing. I think it's because the sun came out halfway through taking the pictures, and perhaps that changed things too much. This is the right side of the pan. I cropped this one taller.
This is so period. Even without the clothes and haircuts, and the tail lights of a Zephyr 6, it's the deck chairs and folding picnic table, the advert on the back of the magazine...little details.
Today, there'd be a barbecue on the go, and the kids would be playing Nintendo DS.
In this one there's me and my brother, mum, Nanna Fellows and Grandad Fellows. Grandad has gone, but Nanna is still tenaciously hanging in there.
